About Siobahn Hotaling
Siobahn Hotaling has expertise in a diverse range of areas - including UX design, research, and psychology. At present, Siobahn Hotaling serves as a project consultant at the Adaption Institute, specializing in conducting meta-analysis of existing research in order to create educational programs for organizations. She is currently working on developing programs about virtual connectivity and remote team-building in the time of Covid-19, as well as the development of future skill assessment tools. In addition, Ms. Hotaling serves at Global Payments in the role of senior user experience designer, and has worked with the company since 2017.
Ms. Hotaling is the creator of the Implicit Bias Transformation Program (IBTP), a model she developed to help individuals transform their biases using a combination of instructions for conceptual change, metacognitive exercises, and emotional assessment. She developed this comprehensive program while earning her master’s degree in psychology from Harvard University, and has made it available to organizations that would like to test it.
Prior to earning her master’s degree, Siobahn Hotaling completed a bachelor of arts in creative writing and poetry from Skidmore College, and draws upon this education as a poet and writer. She is also a musical artist and has produced two albums.
